Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes! While the wedding, reception, and surrounding activities are primarily designed with adults in mind, we truly want you there if you’re invited. This is a celebration where we hope our closest friends and family can feel comfortable, relax, and fully be themselves without worrying about offending others or needing to censor their behavior.
Please note that there will be alcohol, adult language, and some activities that may not be ideal for younger children. Food at the wedding will be served buffet-style, and throughout the days before and after, there will be a variety of snacks and meal options available for all ages.
-
If you’re local, the drive to the wedding and reception will be under 45 minutes for most guests. Please note that many of the additional activities and gatherings will take place further south in the Lehi area, rather than near the main venue.
For those traveling in, we recommend staying closer to the primary gathering location in Lehi, as most activities and events outside of the wedding and reception will be held there. This can also make transportation between events more convenient. Further down on this page, you’ll find hotel recommendations organized by proximity to either the venue or the primary gathering area to help you choose what works best.

Getting around Salt Lake County and Utah County is generally straightforward. We’ll do our best to help coordinate carpools and provide transportation options for those traveling in.
While it’s not required, staying closer to the Lehi area can make coordinating rides a bit easier. We’ll also be hosting dinners and gatherings with an open bar. Uber and Lyft rides between the primary gathering location and our recommended hotels are typically under $10, as they’re all located nearby.
-
The wedding party will have specific color and attire requirements, and we’ll be coordinating directly with them on those details.
For guests, the wedding is formal, but traditional black-tie attire (such as tuxedos or very formal gowns) is not necessary. We recommend dressing nicely while keeping comfort in mind—there will be a DJ, open bar, and plenty of dancing.
Please also note that the venue has varied terrain, including grass, natural stone areas, and stone staircases leading to waterfalls and seating areas. We recommend wearing shoes that are versatile and comfortable for walking on these surfaces. You may also want to consider bringing a second pair of shoes or sandals, especially given the warmer July weather.
For the other activities, we’ll provide specific attire recommendations where helpful. For casual gatherings, comfortable, relaxed clothing is perfectly appropriate.
Recommended Lodging
We’ve secured a pre-negotiated lodging rate with Marriott at two nearby options: SpringHill Suites and Courtyard of Lehi. Both are conveniently located near the primary gathering area and Saturday’s activities.
The negotiated rate is $139 per night (before taxes and fees) and applies to both locations. At Courtyard, this rate is for a king bed, while at SpringHill Suites, the rooms default with two queen beds. Current booking dates are set for check-in on July 9th and check-out on July 12th, though both room types and dates can be adjusted based on availability. If you’d like to extend your stay or request a different room configuration, please reach out to Ayla or Nathan directly.
There are also several Hyatt and Hilton options in the area. If you prefer to book alternative accommodations, anything in the Lehi, Utah area will be convenient and close to the primary gathering location and Saturday’s activities.
To receive the negotiated rate, rooms must be booked by June 12th, subject to availability.

Lodging by the Wedding Venue
If you’re planning to stay closer to Louland Falls for the wedding, see the map of the venue location for reference. For convenience, we recommend looking for accommodations in Salt Lake City near the venue, particularly in areas east of downtown or along the I-215 corridor, which will provide easier access.
This is especially recommended for those who are only attending the wedding and not participating in the additional activities, as it offers convenient access to both the venue and the airport.
